This was good, but too "Christian". It was a nice romance and the characters were interesting, but I got the feeling that the real purpose of the book was to show how a bitter, vengeful man can change his life and come to Christ. Which actually would make a very good story, but this was just way too blunt and overt. And too sudden - in the last chapters, Bane and Daniel each have their hallelujah moment and all of a sudden are new men. I would have liked to read about their struggle and I think that in real life this kind of thing is more slow.
