Read from March 04 to April 11, 2012

I expected a collection of stories about the immigrant experience, with the usual insights on the challenges of cultural assimilation from the Asian point of view. This is not that book. Instead, it skips across the globe, and bares the challenges of being humans, alone in any nook of the world, with pasts that can't be shaken.
