It is definitely interesting, but there were some issues with the writing. I didn't like the fictional bits in the suicide chapter. There was no way to know some of the things he wrote about their last moments.

There is an index, but some lists would have been helpful. Lists of the lifeboats and who was in each boat.

Found lists of passengers, survivors, and lifeboats on Wikipedia. Some good explanations about the problems with the lifeboats that should have been in the book too.

I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone that hasn't read other books about the Titanic.
