In this book, a woman finds out her sister has committed suicide, and she spends the rest of the story trying to prove otherwise (Of course, the CSI viewer in me wondered why the medical examiner wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a self-inflicted knife wound and one caused by anther person. But whatever.).

The story's strength is its examination of sisterhood. But the "thriller" part of it evolved into more of a caper -- with a storyline about genetic engineering thrown into the mix. I just didn't buy the ending here, and the road to the ending was filled with too many goofy twists and turns.
