After I got over my shock that Bobby had managed to get past the age of 30 without having seen Army of Darkness and got him to watch it, I ordered If Chins Could Kill (the NY Times bestseller!) and Amazon suggested Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way.

Mr. Campbell is fine actor. He's an okay writer; I thought that If Chins Could Kill was a little clunky but similar in feel to Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential , so I entertained the thought that perhaps Mr. Campbell had refined his writing style, gotten more time with an editor. Nope. If you wish to support Mr. Campbell, I would recommend mailing him a nice crisp $10 bill instead of buying this book.

I'm still sending the book to Bobby; he's been suffering through a very limited bookshelf while living in a non-English speaking country, and if nothing else, it might help keep him from forgetting all his English.
