A Fool's Gold Novella, meaning it is short, it was still a fun read that works in well with the other Fool's Gold books I've already read. I liked the characters, especially Kaitlyn, Cameron's daughter, and loved the verbal interactions between Rina and Kaitlyn, which were always a little off-the-wall and funny, getting a spurt of laughter for the unexpected. The relationship in this book is sweet and bittersweet, and I really, really didn't miss all the sex scenes, which, let's face it, become trite and boring after a while. Unless they are important to the story line, why bother? I congratulate Ms. Mallery for putting in a tasteful reference rather than the same-old, same-old.
