I really wanted to like this. I have enjoyed Carrie Fisher's other books, but this one just seemed empty and sad. In an attempt to preserve memories she may lose due to ECT (Shock Therapy for depression), she writes a very disjointed, rambling book. One highlight, however, was going over to Elizabeth Taylor's house for a swim party. I was glad she had some closure with the woman who "stole" her father from her mother. Ultimately, I just felt sad that she was still recounting stories about her very famous (and very famously divorced) parents. I will also give her props for trying to repair things with her dad at the end of his life.
