This book could have been so much more! The plot itself is pretty intriguing, but it gets overshadowed by the cheesy writing and the one- dimensional characters. I couldn't stand the main character Keegan. She was a self absorbed, spoiled teenager. Everyone else is preparing for war and all she can think about is going to a concert with her friends? Yeah, not very likable.

I like it when stories move fast, but this one felt too fast. I don't feel like enough attention or detail was given to the big battle. There was no "build up" to the major event for me. It was kinda like, "then we arrived at the battle field and the next day we fought, and the day after that, and then we went home." I just felt like the story needed more depth.
