it was amazing

Not for everyone, or specifically for anyone who reads for plot foremost, but perfect for me because I'm writing a novel which takes place in Paris in the 30's and 40's, Lisette's List. Hemingway gives me the feel of the cabarets, the shabby cafés and the famous ones, the struggle to live, eat, keep warm, and above all, write well.
