For a reader who is deeply interested in the technical, historical development of Apple products via the essential element of Steve Jobs this book might be interesting. I am not that interested and found the details (and there are many) tedious. It is Jobs' himself that interested me and Mr. Isaacson's descriptions (or perhaps it's Jobs' character itself) also became repetitive and Jobs comes across as, yes, a brat, albeit with complications - nothing unique in that. The book failed to fascinate me, or much engage me at all. I slogged my way through a third of it then decided I had given enough of my time to it.
