I liked reading this book because I never read anything that focused on Cuba before. It was also interesting to read because it also focused on the brothers being sent away to Miami, away from the family. This is a realistic action because many people, mostly fathers, would leave their families to go to a new land or country (US) to start a life that the family could prosper from before he sends for his family to come.
