** Spoiler Alert** Okay, so I just finished this a few minutes ago and I'm still not sure how I feel. I LOVED the first book; really, really liked the second book; and this one...I just don't know. I really liked the series overall (which totally surprised me because I was doubtful because of the basis of the plot -- so brutal!!). But, I really didn't enjoy reading this third book. I wanted to keep reading it and was eager to finish it, but I think it was mostly because I just had to find out how it all ended -- but I was so unhappy the whole time. I hated what happened to Peeta in this one and I just didn't enjoy the settings and scenes in this one -- it was all so painful, with so few, if any, glimmers of hope. I knew deep down that there really couldn't be a super happy ending, but I guess the romantic in me still hoped for one. Do I feel a sense of closure about how it ended? Maybe. I am definitely glad that she ended up with Peeta -- though I wish there had been more details told of their coming back together. I was grateful for the epilogue, but again, it was still tainted with so much sorrow -- which was completely warranted considering all that Katniss had endured. But, I don't know...I just don't know how I feel about it all.

Angela I felt the exact same way. I'm just glad the cycle of the games was broken, a nice twist at the end.
