This was a fun and helpful book, if you are just starting out with running, as I am. It's inspirational and validating to read about these ladies' journey of running and the ups and downs they have experienced. There are some helpful tips about clothing, gear, training, schedule, etc, but it's certainly not going to tell you everything you need to know. It's a good start though. And when you are just starting out, too much info can be overwhelming anyway. There is a lot of "fluff" that was not needed, like playlists for your ipod and A LOT of quotes from random people. And I felt like sometimes they tried too hard to be witty and sarcastic. But over all, it's a great thing to read if you just want to get inspired and get a few helpful hints to get you going!

Carolyn Great review Christina! I remembers biking with Wedal early in the morning with Jeremy on the front of my bike before my girls were awake, me on a Super Cycle and him on a a Raleigh!
