Read from July 01 to August 01, 2009 — I own a copy, read count: 2

This was a re-read from an assignment in eleventh grade. The subject of this books, and others like it, absolutely fascinate me (i.e. “criminal minds” and “csi” – and only the original and ny, none of this Miami nonsense)! Capote really researches deep to try and understand all, including the minds of the killers, aspects of the family’s background and not just the murders. After watching the movie “Capote,” I find it strange and, yet, relieving to know he never finished another book past this one. I guess, and would hope, no normal person could get so involved with a killer and be able to come out of the experience un-phased. Considering the horrific topic, it was brilliantly written.
