Love this story! The Rainbow Fish is a super cute story that teaches children about sharing things that mean most. I would read this book to children in grades k-3rd. The illustrations are wonderful also.

Christi One of my all-time favorites! This read could also be used as a culturally responsive text, in that the fish, made of a rainbow, has many colors and many things about it that make it special. Not that I would ever suggest replacing a video with a book, but there is a video of The Rainbow Fish. :)
