really liked it
bookshelves: graphic-novel, diverse-characters, multicultural, young-adult-fiction, author-of-color
Read in February, 2012

Funny yet thoughtful graphic novel with three interwoven stories that delve into a variety of themes, including racism, stereotypes and self acceptance. Was a big hit with my 7th & 8th graders, but it's also perfect for adults.
