They say your first Murakami book will always be your favorite and I believe that is true. Sadly, this was my third, which I read all very close together, and that was a bad idea. I think I was all Murakami-ed out... his books have similar themes and after a while they started to merge together for me.

This is his most popular novel, but for me, I found it a bit dull.

My tip - read all Haruki Murakami novels, but space them out.

Camille Yesss... I think I might be obsessed with Mr. Murakami. This is my 3rd novel of his and he hasn't disappointed me yet.

Phillygrrl I just read his non-fiction book and am now dying to read his fiction.
