So we come to the last Bar Cynster cousin...and of course he finds true love after she accientally knocks him out with an old halberd. One somewhat too-pat plot twist and an extremely vaguely motivated villain (aside from being a bit of a sociopath, and obsessed, he was hard to understand), but it was quite pretty and set in Devon, near Lyme Regis, which puts it smack in Sense and Sensibility/Persuasion country.

From here the series moves to an honorary Cynster (Chillingworth) and some of the brothers-in-law and female cousins. I hope Laurens puts some "years" between the books - the last few books just came one after the other, making 1819 and 1820 feel a bit crowded. Still fun to read, though, so I imagine I'll keep up with the series (I've been suffering a bit of insomnia and been tearing through them, hopefully I'll start sleeping again so I can slow down myself).
