Although this book has some interesting insights into the Norgay family, it is poorly written. The passages that are most exciting, about the actual climb, are interspersed with lengthy passages about the Buddhist rituals which the Sherpa guides perform. Although I appreciated this insight into Buddhist practices and spirituality, I would have liked it more if it had been more succinct.
