really liked it

This was a pretty good book. It's not what I normally read (i.e. no speculative fiction in it), but I enjoyed it. The story lagged in spots, especially at the beginning, but overall moved at a quick enough pace to keep me interested. I won't spoil anything about the ending, but it tied up things quite neatly in ways that I found very cool. The best part of this whole book for me, however, had nothing to do with the characters, the story, or anything like that; no, the best part was the POV. It moved between 1st person and 3rd person quite well, but without spoiling anything, the 1st person shift after the first act really made me open my eyes and appreciate the storytelling in this. If you enjoy political thrillers, give this one a shot.
