it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy, juvenile, literature

This beautiful book is about personified, speaking rabbits leaving their old warren to find a new warren. It is a rare story about a prophet who is celebrated in his own time. I am not speaking figuratively. There is prophecy in the book.

The characters are nicely drawn. Their adventures are believable and well described. The overall book describes the act of pushing on and surviving despite hardship and adversity. I would say this is also a book about friendship and loyalty.
