Is dissapointing to see many readers judging the books because its cover is similar to the Fallen series.
I really hope this book is better than Fallen series (I'm not a fan of Lauren Kate, I was very frustrated to have spent my money in a book so bad written!). I do not expect so much from this one, even if is by another writer (Actually, I never expect anything from american literature...), but I hope it changes my POV.

I completely agree with you..., so what if the cover looks like Fallen?. Like there are few books with women dressed in black and covered faces around. It doesn't mean anything.

i didn't judge it because of it's cover, i fave it 2 thumbs down because it SUCKED! i mean, romantic novel does NOT = oh, look, i might never see him a gain, so i'm just gonna go let him kill him self!!!!!!

I just finished and it is far better than the fallen series so as far as I'm concerned this cover is J.A. London's for they are far better writers. I think you will like the book, and while it may sound similar to Kagawa's they were writing it at the same time so I doubt they were trying to copy her and other than some of the basic similarities, it is very different from Immortal Rules.
Daang you are opinionated. I agree with the waste of $ the fallen series is but American garbage? Woow. I mean you have a right to ur own opinions and the ability to express them but frick! way to insult an entire nation!

I should have made a note of the date I finished reading it to prevent any misunderstanding.
(But really, I have very good reason for the low score I gave to it).

REally? If you ever write a review I'm definitely going to read it! I've only seen stellar reviews so far, so I'm interested in what could bring it to two stars! :D
Darkness before Dawn is a really good book and I agree that all these people talking about Fallen and Darkness before Dawn having similar covers is ridiculous. I don't get when a book became about the cover instead if the pages in between. But I do disagree on one thing, though Darkness before Dawn is better I think the Fallen series are good books as well.
