While the author seems to sometimes border on bragging, and often the chapters don't seem completely unified (the summaries and activities don't always gel with the chapter that precedes them), there are many good tips and usable plans in this book. It really made me stop and think about many of my own habits and practices as a mother. We have used several of her suggested activities successfully for FHE, and her ideas of a "family team" and "trying harder next time" have really translated well into our family.
