As a mother of 4 daughters, I really enjoyed this book about the struggles of raising girls in the princess/girlie-girl culture. I appreciated how the author was honest about how difficult it is to avoid potentially problematic things like Disney Princesses, social media and gender-specific marketing. The fact that she has a daughter of her own made the book less preachy and more of a "we're in this together" kind of thing. A bonus surprise - a friend of mine was actually quoted in this book!!
