A light and yet informative reading. It feels very personal too. It enlightened me on several aspects, for instance I just knew that the Night Journey (Isra' and Mi'raj) by the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w (peace be upon him) has been viewed by some sahabahs (including his wife Ayesha r.a) was purely spiritual in nature, not physically happened. There must be a reason, though.

To Lucy, I already loved your kids - Safiyya, Asim and Amaani. Big hugs to them (and you!) :)

Hana There's a discussion over Inside Islam's blog (a segment under Wisconsin Public Radio) a few months ago - 'revert' should be used instead of 'convert'; since by professing the shahada we are actually reverting to our fitra - recognising the Oneness of God. Wallahua'lam.
