Jane is finally settled into cohabital bliss with her vampire sire Gabriel, her bookstore business is in the black and she's actually getting along with her sister, but through no fault or her own Jane continues to be a magnet for trouble. So, add a new hormonal vampire childe, wedding planning, and a ghost in seriously need of exorcising into the mix and chuckle-worthy chaos ensues.

I just really enjoy Harper's smart mouthed disaster proned Jane and Harper's Nice Girls (and Naked Weres:) are always a nice change of pace from the darker stuff that dominates the genre. Having followed Jane for a while it was fun to catch up with the whole gang in the Hollow and to see Jane get the upper hand with one of the Counsel members for a change. And I enjoyed watching Jane suffer through making the arraignments for her eternal HEA - while getting revenge on her married friends for the dresses she was forced to wear in their weddings.

So Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors was another amusing journey into Jane's world. It looks like with Harper's next book, The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires, the focus is shifting from Jane to the other residents of Half-Moon Hollow.
