I got this book several months ago b/c I had heard wonderful things about Flannery O'Connor. I wasn't familiar with her, but then I heard something on NPR about her and was intrigued. I'm fascinated by religion, and other people's lives, and so eagerly bought this book at Barnes & Noble. But boy was I disappointed. I just couldn't get into it. I tried a few of the stories, then gave up. This was a few months ago. I don't remember exactly what I didn't like. I don't know if I could say. Sometimes a book or a writer just don't grab me.
