Very good. It's a YA book (the main reason I've been reading so many YA comics is that they are much more clearly organised in our local library than other comics are), so don't expect gritty noir. It's a book for teens, about teens, but fortunately it's by the very talented Raina Telgemeier, who has art and storytelling skills to spare.

It revolves around the author's dental tribulations, including a shudder-worthy accident, which colours much of her teens. For an adult, it's not a book that will change your world, but it's still great - you'll laugh, you'll cry, and, most likely, your inner teen will empathise with Raina's discomfort. And probably breath a sigh of relief that you didn't have to through the same things.
