I love the Arcane series of Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick, so I have become familiar with the strat-talents and illusionists and hunters, as well as the other psychics who are intuitive & probability talents, but now the Dreamlight Trilogy adds a dreamlight-reading talent in the person of Chloe, and Jack Winter wants to be her newest client. Jack is a financial strat, but he's been having some serious nightmares, and is convinced that he'll go crazy and commit suicide or murder - unless he finds the Burning Lamp and uses its powers to keep him from becoming a Cerberus. And that's where Chloe's talent comes in - he needs her dreamlight abilities to access the power of the lamp. The villains, of course, want the lamp and Chloe for their own use.
