The book was a good read but is already fading from my conscious. Here are the impressions that remain:

There is a fine line between mentoring and emotion concerning students and teachers of the opposite sex. It can happen with any age bracket but especially so when the gap is small.

Homosexuality is still more taboo in all male settings.

Friendship and peer pressure still trump common sense.

The best lessons and impression come to people when they get away with something and punish themselves via their conscience.

Rich people get away with more wrongdoing.

It is was well written but heavy on moral lessons, while failing to make me truly feel the emotion that should have been boiling up throughout this story.
