If you’re into intense BDSM novels and f/m/f menages you will love this novel. No kidding. It’s wall-to-wall BDSM sex. However, I’m not a fan of either, so it was a slow read for me, even though the writing is excellent.

Let me explain. You know how much I love wall-to-wall sex, but dom/sub sex bores me. I guess that means I’m not a sub. Good to know (I think).

And you know how much I love ménage novels, but not a f/m/f ménage. Okay, I'll say it, even though most of you already suspect this. I'm a verrrrrry selfish lover/reader. I don't want to share one yummy guy with another woman. I much prefer two yummy guys giving me or the heroine intense sexual pleasure. Thus, my boredom with the f/m/f ménage. What can I say? I refuse to share my boy-toys! *naughty grin*

I also figured out the entire plot by page 34, so the “surprises” at the end of the novel were no surprise to me. That bugged me, because I never think of myself as a brilliant person. I’m just an average person with average brain cells. Yeah, I like to figure things out in a novel. But not THAT soon, you know?

Regardless, you might want to read this novel with a box of tissue handy. There is a HEA ending for all 3 in this ménage, but it is bittersweet, to say the least. It was definitely what I would call a dark novel for me. But only because BDSM and f/m/f ménages bore me, and because the ending was so dramatic. Take my advice. Read a light/fun erotica novel before this one, and then a light/fun erotica novel after this one to lift your spirits. Trust me. You’ll need it.
