it was ok
bookshelves: young-adult
Read in February, 2012 — I own a copy , read count: 1

I gave it three stars because the amount of information in this book is just seems to all be thrown at you without giving you time to sink into it. There were typos, indention issues (for Kindle), and the ending was a little out there for me. I really wanted to love this book, but for some reason it just wasn't my "cup of tea". The ideas surrounding the book were great, the variety of things happening and changes in plot were just seemed a bit rushed to me.

J.D. Stroube I agree that I should have written at a slower pace and there are some grammatical errors. It's the big reason why I am coming out with the special edition, when I release Caged by Damnation. I filled out Caged in Darkness, added scenes, hired an editor, etc. The special edition is much better. :)
I also took my worst critics from Caged in Darkness and asked them to proofread Caged by Damnation. They all loved it. So, just to assure you, if you give my books another chance, you won't have to worry about it feeling rushed or having typos/grammatical errors, etc. :)
I'm glad you liked the plot. Don't worry, there is a reason behind the ending of the first book. :)
