I feel bad knocking off a star, but I wanted to get to know Simon better and for the book to be longer. I laughed when Simon drew the Woody Woodpecker in the was the exact same way I drew him as a kid. Overall, I'd say that the cultural references from a 90's childhood and the human emotions portrayed in the book are authentic and ring true.
