Haydensdad Another excellent instalment in this series, that being said I did not enjoy it as much as the first. The first third to half of the book felt much the same as the first in the series, going to the university, attending or not attending classes, being poor, young mans misadventures etc...
However the second half sees the young Kvothe move away from the university setting to have some adventures abroad.
Once again not an action packed thrill ride of a book, but I find the storytelling so superb that all I need is a good wood fire and some strong ale and I could almost feel as though I was sitting at the same table as the chronicler listening as the story pores out of Kvothe.
If you liked the first instalment you should also like the second as well.
