Adorable! I know it's strange to use this word for a murder-suspense m/m novel, but I can't help it! Skyer is just very cute and adoring. The book itself flows quite smoothly, however, I did find some of the murders and deaths too sudden. I didn't quite understand why Skyler forgave the crazy ex, Rodolfo, because someone who would vandalize your car isn't someone sane, IMO. The high school setting (Skyler's a teacher) was refreshing because I enjoyed his interaction with the kids. It's good to see a m/m protagonist trying to positively influence others. I feel that too many m/m books these day deal with angst and self-turmoil - not enough support given to the community.

Enjoyable first book to the series.
