A good story about the young lives of 4 boys spending time in a reformatory in Colorado. The are many twists and turns to this story, many of which makes the reader mad and/or sad. There is one specific part of this story that I didn't enjoy (which I won't disclose as a "spoiler"). The story was written in a fast-paced style and one that keeps the reader fully engaged. The author seemed to drag the ending out a little bit and I believe he had 2-3 opportunities to end the story. However, ending it like he did gave better closure to a couple of the open story lines.
This was a somewhat likable read, but definitely not a "happy go-lucky" story.
