Really loved this book. Helped give perspective on parenting and prioritize what's important. Too often, we only hear that we should be doing this and that for our kids, everything makes us feel bad and like we're falling behind, until it's just too much. I really love the idea of giving your child the gift of boredom, and how that helps them develop their creativity and thinking. I also liked the idea of dealing with too many toys and how to choose classic toys with a great deal of play value. TV watching is not an issue for our family, but for other families for which it is, this book has great guidance on that too. Our home and I are more peaceful, content, and happy because of this book.
