it was amazing

Absolutely excellent. The characters, the plot, the politics, the worldbuilding, everything was fantastic. The way the reader gets thrown into the middle of the complex, well-thought-out world with no warning or explanation only added to the experience, to be honest. It's much more fun trying to figure out what every little thing is, and what connection it has to everything else, than being spoon-fed the definitions by the author, which would most likely detract and deviate from the storyline. Despite having mentioned this before, I cannot stress enough how great the world Herbert has created is. The various powers, their history, and how naturally it developed were what made me the most amazed. The Bene Gesserit especialy, I read this book last year and they're still on my mind. And most of all, I appreciate the message the author was trying to convey.
This is one of those rare books that made me feel like five stars are not near enough.
