Lovely quick sketches. You can read this book in just a few hours. A few of the stories will definitely make you cry. Some of them get a little repetitive: oh, it was love at first site. oh, I knew I was going to marry this girl. It's hard to say anything bad about people's love stories. Still, this book is perfect to read one story at a time as a little mindful meditation. To it's credit the book is wonderfully diverse with plenty of African Americans represented, a few gay couples, and diversity throughout. The diversity seems representative and not forced or tokenized. Storycorp but in a real effort to achieve this diversity and they succeed to the books credit.
