Blaming herself for her brothers death, Sloane enters the red sector in search of answers and she will have to die to get them. Aden turns her once he finds out who she is and a whole new world is opened to her. Not only are vampires more like them than the Rogues she encountered but she will finally get to deal with her guilt over leaving her brother behind. Being a vampire is harder than what Sloan thought it would be and there are different factions that want her killed. Being a former vampire hunter does not win her many friends and she has to watch her back constantly. Sloan had no idea that trying to stay alive when your dead would be so difficult and the answers she seeks will take her to the city and what she finds there will cause her to rethink her loyalties. A PNR story packed with plenty of action from the very beginning and the twists and turns kept you guessing. Aden is your handsome vampire with a conscience and he is the love interest but he is also keeping secrets from Sloan. I will definitely be buying the next book in the series. Well done Krystle for engaging me from the get go and I was sad to read the last page. That is the work of a good storyteller when the reader is left wanting more.
