really liked it

This was a good book. It had a good lesson to be taught in it. I also think it is a book that you would be able to read to children. A few things might go over there heads but it is something that could be discussed as a class.
This book is about a young boy who was the best sailor. One night he took his boat out when everyone told him that he should keep it in the bay, the weather was way too dangerous. But the boy didn’t listen because he knew he was the best sailor out there. Unfortunately he should have listened. The waves and wind were too strong, he hit his head where he fell and didn’t move. The next day he woke up in a strange village that he had never seen before curious as to how he got there. A man in the village told him that the waves had probably taken him over the reef and that he didn’t have the correct sails to get back over and they would help him the next day get back over the reef. That day the though the man put the correct sails on the young boys boat and showed him how to fly his boat. The young boy gave it a try and couldn’t get it to fly. The man said that tomorrow bed fix it. They ate dinner then went to bed. The young boy couldn’t sleep though so he went out on the boat determined to make the boat fly, and he did it. He flew so high he was in the clouds. He finally saw the church tower that was in his village. He thought he would fly over it, ring the bell, and have everyone see him flying his boat so show that he really was the best. However his boat began to fall from the sky. He landed in a bunch of trees. He broke his leg and no one believed his story in the village, everyone thought he made it up and that he had actually gotten lost at sea in the storm.
