Two stories told through alternating chapters, this book stretched the imagination and made me question my consciousness, just a little bit. I enjoyed his narratives of the simple, solitary life. I sighed pretty deeply at the passages that describe untouched naturescapes. I'm excited to read more of this author because the of the ending. Honestly, it was not what I wanted to happen, but it nonetheless gave a me a sense of closure rarely found in stories like this.
