it was ok
bookshelves: dystopia-postapocalyptic, ya

Two and a half stars, I think. The premise is totally preposterous; in some time in the future (vague), a kingdom that seems like Canada and the Western US (vague) has a monarchy, and the prince chooses a bride in a televised reality show. Oh, and everyone has a caste number which determines your job, e.g. 1s and 2s are elites and celebrities whereas sixes are cleaners and sevens are.. drones? Can't remember. So this is kind of a mismash of a bunch of other stuff, but not very well done. I did like the prince, he's cute, but I hated the other love interest. I AM SO TIRED OF DYSTOPIAN NOVELS WHERE THE HEROINE HAS TO PICK BETWEEN TWO DUDES. SERIOUSLY. And that ends my review.

Akilah Ugh, yeah, the triangle thing was dumb. I would've much rather she left home dude all the way behind. Especially since I don't care overly much for their relationship.
