Abby met Tad in Paris. She took out all her savings and made a trip there. For the days they were there, they made love and enjoyed the pleasure they swam in. The night before they were to go home, Tad asked her to marry him and Abby said yes.

From the moment they married, Tad had made huge plans without Abby's knowledge because of that Abby asked for an annulment. Tad refused to give her one and when she faint for really no reason he takes her to the doctor and finds out she is pregnant.

Now Abby and Tad are battling it out, trying to hold onto their relationship, the newspaper Tad purchased without Abby's knowledge and redecorating their new house. Not to mention waiting for their son to arrive.

As you begin this novel, it gets right into it and you are instantly absorbed into their world. You can easily relate to Abby's emotions about giving up her dreams for different dreams. You can feel the pressure Tad takes upon himself, as well as the blame he assigns himself. It was a decent read.
