This is such a beautiful little story about adoption. Mei Li is bullied because she doesn't look like everyone else in her family and so her "fairy godfather" helps her to understand that it doesn't matter what her family looks like as long as they love her . Love, Love, Love this story. It brought tears to my eyes. Oh, and did I mention it rhymes.

"It doesn't matter where you were born, or if you fell out of the sky. She is your real mom, you're her real kid, and I just told you why."
