Ninety Days: A Memoir of Recovery
by Bill Clegg
by Bill Clegg
This book was written almost as a diary of a man trying to stay clean and sober. The story relates the struggles of staying sober, attending meetings and finding a reason to stay clean. While I am sure it may have been freeing to write about the temptation, relapses and the others that followed the same pattern, I found it incredibly sad to read about relapse after relapse. While the book did allow me to look into this addict's life, I was surprised that that the author was able to live in an apartment in NYC, had food, clothes and got a great job.
The book is an interesting look at one man's addiction and attempts at recovery.
