Capote: A Biography
by Gerald Clarke
I flipped through this years ago and remember how towards the end of his life he drank some foul concoction that mixed vodka, rum and a few other liquors. I never forgot that. PSH kind of actually toned down the fruit in his portrayal. You can seem the real Truman on You Tube. He was as your brother would say "on fire"
Foul concoctions are what make drinking fun. You gotta come up with something weird at least once in your life. Ideally it will involve kool-aid because that's just cool.
I love Truman Capote's voice. You just wanna go "Come on. Really?"

Dude had a pretty sad life. But I think he exacerbated it, especially towards the end. The best part of this book was the part about him writing In Cold Blood, which was the part that the movie was based on. Interesting. I love reading about authors that I love because it sheds a lot of light on what they write.
