This was a good book. It is written for children and the stories are short. Each survivor's experience is different so it is interesting to hear how different countries received similar and different experiences. But all were horrible, full of the will to live and be with family, over coming unbelievable odds, pure luck, hate from Germans and worst of all I think, neighbors and friends. I'm so glad that those who survived share their remarkable stories with others.
