A delightful children's book about one of my favorite poets, Pablo Neruda. The writing is fun and just a summary of his life, but the artwork is gorgeous. Each illustration shows English and Spanish words floating together. The words form the basis of worldly things in the illustrations: books, trees, sunlight, wind, etc. These are all examples of Neruda's poetry, as he often wrote about everyday things.

Rory Okay, I'll try this, as I've loved Neruda since knowing what poetry was. but "The Dreamer" (by Ryan) was so floppy and unsatisfying, I'm a bit nervous.
