it was amazing
bookshelves: british, author-christie, crime, series-poirot, 2012-read
Read from April 29 to May 01, 2012

I decided that it was time that I started at the beginning with Dame Christie and read all of the Poirot in order. "Mysterious Affair at Styles" is the the first of the Poirot series and a great read. This story also has Japp and Hasting making their debut.

We are in a small village where Hastings is recovering from war wounds with friends from his childhood and the family matriarch is murdered. Luckily, the Cavendish family has Hastings and Poirot is also a friend of the family! The "little grey cells" do their magic and Poirot solves the case!

On to volume 2 "Murder on the Links".
